Goal D: Education

Physiatrists will value the Academy as their primary source of education and other rehabilitation professionals will recognize the Academy as a useful educational resource.

Objectives:

1. The Academy will develop a program for our members to successfully meet the ABPMR MOC requirements

2. Develop a core curriculum that defines the essential knowledge of the specialty

3. Increase educational content in both core and subspecialty areas of practice and emerging physiatry trends

4. Increase access by providing a variety of information from multiple sources

5. Increase the coherence and nimbleness of systems for capturing, organizing and providing access to information

6. Increase the number and quality of strategic alliances with other associations and the utility of shared information
