The History of AAPM&R and the PM&R specialty
The AAPM&R History Preservation Committee was established to oversee
the collection of data and memorabilia documenting significant events in the
history of both the Academy and the specialty of physical medicine and
rehabilitation (PM&R).
The committee’s chair, C. George Kevorkian, MD, also serves as the
Academy’s Historian.
