Deadline for discounted hotel rooms: October 6, 2010
If you are planning to attend the AAPM&R 2010 Annual Assembly in Seattle, plan to stay in an official Academy hotel. The headquarters hotel for this year’s Assembly is the Sheraton Seattle. Book your room at the Sheraton Seattle to:
- Enjoy hotel amenities: The Sheraton Seattle is just 21 steps from the convention center and only six blocks from Pike Place Market. Newly renovated in 2010, the hotel includes an indoor swimming pool, Daily Grill restaurant, and a concierge to help you book tours and make restaurant reservations.
- Network with colleagues, keep Assembly hotel room prices low: The Academy negotiates hotels rates with members in mind. It’s important for members to stay at the headquarters hotel to improve the in-formal learning experience and connect with collegues. Staying in the headquarters hotel also ensures our rates stay low—the more room nights we can guarantee, the lower rates we can negotiate now and in the future.
Reminders
- Preconference courses are Tuesday, November 2-Wednesday, November 3. The Job Fair, resident track, and several workshops and committee meetings will be held on Wednesday, November 3. Please make your hotel and travel arrangements accordingly.
- The AAPM&R hotels will require a one night, non-refundable hotel deposit by credit card when reservations are made.
- Reservations are made on a first-come, first served basis.
- The deadline date for the discounted hotel rooms is October 6, 2010; discounted rooms are subject to room and rate availability.
