In anticipation of this level of demand for musculoskeletal ultrasound education, the Academy has developed several other educational opportunities. Recordings of the 2008 musculoskeletal ultrasound preconference course are currently available online; an introductory course will be offered as a preconference course in conjunction with the AAPM&R 2010 Annual Assembly course in Seattle, WA; and a new, advanced-level course focusing on the lower extremity will take place in early 2011.

Prerequisites

Participation in a MSK US course that included hands-on ultrasound scanning is a pre-requisite to register for this course.

The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
