AAPM&R is excited to announce the release of a new episode in the Pediatric Fellowship Webinar series, Advanced Technology in Rehabilitation

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Fellow's Webinar Series is hosted by Sue Mukherjee, MD, FRCPC. The curriculum was originally devised by Robert Rinaldi, Margaret (Peggy) Turk, and Frank Pidcock, with input from other fellowship programs directors. The goal is to provide fellow-level education on the art and science of pediatric rehabilitation medicine, and the state of pediatric rehabilitation research in various topic areas.

After completing this activity, residents and practicing physicinas should be able to recognize available advanced technology and robotic devices used in rehabilitation today and discuss the reasoning for their incorporation into rehabilitation.

This activity is available on  and is free for members.

Legislation Introduced to Alleviate Impact of Conversion Factor Cut for 2021

Nov 09, 2020

Last month, two bills were introduced in the House proposing solutions to the estimated 10.6% Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor cut expected to go into effect January 1, 2021.  The bills offer some relief to the cut, but do not reflect a comprehensive or long-term solution.  AAPM&R has therefore chosen to remain neutral regarding these bills.

Your Academy continues to advocate for a permanent solution to the conversion factor cut while maintaining the important payment increases to office and outpatient evaluation and management services.
