Through the generous support of the Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Foundation, this award is presented to a physiatrist under the age of 50 whose endeavors have constituted a noteworthy advance in the non-surgical clinical care of low back pain. This individual’s contributions should have significant potential for further improving the care of patients with low back pain. The lecture is presented during the AAPM&R Annual Assembly.

The nominee should:

  • be a member of the Academy, under the age of 50, whose research in the diagnosis and/or non-surgical treatment of low back pain has immediate clinical applicability.
