PQRIwizard: 2013 Reporting Tool

PQRIwizard helps you collect and report quality measure data for the CMS PQRS incentive program. PQRIwizard is a Web-based approach that provides an easy, step-by-step wizard to help you rapidly validate and submit you quality data to CMS for incentive payment under the PQRS program. PQRIwizard is CMS-qualified.

Working with CECity, AAPM&R negotiated a discounted rate of $249 for members. The discounted access allows submission of individual measures, measure groups, and the eRx measure.

Before utilizing PQRIwizard, AAPM&R strongly encourages you to determine if this is the right tool for you and your organization by:

  1. Reviewing the 2013 PQRS measure specifications
  2. Determining if you have the data available to report
  3. Viewing the online tour of PQRIwizard to determine if it’s the right tool for you and your organization

Becoming familiar with the PQRS framework will further benefit you since starting this year the quality reporting may contribute to your overall value based modifier for reimbursement. Contributing to this quality registry can also provide additional data to AAPM&R to create more robust measures that can impact the functional health of your patients and society.

Familiarize Yourself With 2013 Measures

PQRS reporting has a positive incentive until 2014. However, failure to submit data in 2013 may impact the proposed Value Based Modifier for payment in 2015 and beyond in addition to the penalties for failing to report PQRS data that also begin in 2015.

What does this mean? You must start reporting no later than 2013. Failure to report or meet threshold in 2014 will result in a penalty of 1.5% in 2015, and 2% each year after.
