Discounted Program Fees
To promote and facilitate resident participation, the Academy offers residents a significant discount on registration fees for the Annual Assembly and other Academy-sponsored educational programs held throughout the year.

Residents can access a tailored program of educational sessions, business meetings, and social events at the AAPM&R Annual Assembly. Through the online education platform me®, resident members can gain access to podcasts on career advice, certification study tools, and an interactive abridged form of the self-assessment exam for residents.

PM&R Resident e-Newsletter
Published by the PHiT, the PM&R Resident e-newsletter is an essential tool for distributing information to PM&R residents nationwide. This monthly publication includes resident-written contributions, news about resident-related Academy activities and events and articles of special interest to residents.
Medical Students Can Benefit Too!
Full-time medical students interested in the field of PM&R are eligible to join the Academy free as student members. Medical Student members receive important publications such as the Connection and The Physiatrist can subscribe to the PM&R journal for only $40, and are also eligible for discounted fees for Academy educational courses and select products and services.
Each year at the AAPM&R Annual Assembly there is a free annual program for medical students to introduce them to the specialty. A residency fair follows the program to give medical students the opportunity to talk with PM&R residency representatives from across the country.
