October 29, 2018

Are you interested in providing feedback to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as they continue to improve the Quality Payment Program (QPP) experience?

CMS is looking for participants to collaborate with to provide feedback on all aspects related to qpp.cms.gov, including:

  • Products
  • Services
  • Educational Materials
  • Website Content

These feedback sessions typically range from 30-60 minutes and can be done over the phone, via video conference or through email. Plus, MIPS-eligible clinicians who participate in these sessions can claim Improvement Activity credit under MIPS.

If interested, please reply to CMSQPPFeedback@Ketchum.com and confirm your interest.  If you could, indicate the method used to submit in PY2017 and intended method in PY2018.

Legislation Introduced to Alleviate Impact of Conversion Factor Cut for 2021

Nov 09, 2020

Last month, two bills were introduced in the House proposing solutions to the estimated 10.6% Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor cut expected to go into effect January 1, 2021.  The bills offer some relief to the cut, but do not reflect a comprehensive or long-term solution.  AAPM&R has therefore chosen to remain neutral regarding these bills.

Your Academy continues to advocate for a permanent solution to the conversion factor cut while maintaining the important payment increases to office and outpatient evaluation and management services.
