Artboard 1@4x-1007D Imaging is a leading provider of unique, learn-as-you-go, ultrasound training solutions. The company, whose stated goal is “to bring ultrasound to the world,” has developed training tools proven to rapidly accelerate ultrasound skills and is offering promotional pricing to all qualified residency programs.

“Nothing beats knowing,” said Dr. Cliff Gronseth, Founder of 7D Imaging and a global ultrasound education nonprofit (and a practicing physiatrist.) “At 7D Imaging, we’d like to do our part to help physiatry become a specialty known for it's ultrasound prowess, a specialty of ultrasound champions. Having a solid working knowledge of bedside ultrasound is no longer a nice-to-have; it's going to play a key role for efficient, cost-effective care.”

Dr. Gronseth holds several ultrasound-related patents and created software to accelerate ultrasound learning. “The steep learning curve remains a main barrier to widespread ultrasound use,” noted Dr. Gronseth. “By combining experts-in-a-box technology (in this case an iPad) with real-time, dynamic ultrasound imaging, clinicians have immediate access to relevant information so they can rapidly improve their skills, from basic to advanced to mastery. It's a fast confidence builder.”

In addition, 7D Imaging is pleased to offer up to 66 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credits™ through a collaboration with AAPM&R.

To take advantage of the promotional offering, contact 7D Imaging for a volume-based quote (up to 45% off) at sales@7DImaging.com or visit the website.

Legislation Introduced to Alleviate Impact of Conversion Factor Cut for 2021

Nov 09, 2020

Last month, two bills were introduced in the House proposing solutions to the estimated 10.6% Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor cut expected to go into effect January 1, 2021.  The bills offer some relief to the cut, but do not reflect a comprehensive or long-term solution.  AAPM&R has therefore chosen to remain neutral regarding these bills.

Your Academy continues to advocate for a permanent solution to the conversion factor cut while maintaining the important payment increases to office and outpatient evaluation and management services.
