March 27, 2017

Located in Issaquah, Washington, Rehabilitation Options of Issaquah (ROI) is a multi-specialty rehabilitation clinic specializing in coordinated care of muscular injuries, spine disorders, neurological injuries, migraine headaches, neck pain, and lower back pain. ROI’s team approach coordinates a patient’s care around his or her goals and needs, whether it be to return to work, gain peak athletic performance, or manage a painful chronic condition.

The Registry is our best opportunity to truly measure and disseminate the larger patterns of care that represent outcomes that matter most to patients and, furthermore, to those paying the bills for that care. The Registry is an attempt to capture patterns of care and incentivize providers to practice in this way.” – Michael Hatzakis, Jr., MD

Legislation Introduced to Alleviate Impact of Conversion Factor Cut for 2021

Nov 09, 2020

Last month, two bills were introduced in the House proposing solutions to the estimated 10.6% Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor cut expected to go into effect January 1, 2021.  The bills offer some relief to the cut, but do not reflect a comprehensive or long-term solution.  AAPM&R has therefore chosen to remain neutral regarding these bills.

Your Academy continues to advocate for a permanent solution to the conversion factor cut while maintaining the important payment increases to office and outpatient evaluation and management services.
