AAPM&R Resident Members: Volunteer at the Annual Assembly, Get Free Access to a Skills Lab!

If you are planning to attend the AAPM&R 2017 Annual Assembly in Denver, CO this October 12-15, volunteer a bit of your time!

Various Skills Labs require the assistance of volunteers and AAPM&R welcomes and appreciates the help of its resident members. Residents who volunteer to assist with a Skills Lab will be given complimentary access to that session, and are eligible for remuneration ($50 per Skills Lab).*

If you are interested in volunteering, access the 2017 Annual Assembly Volunteer Survey. This survey includes all of the Skills Labs that require the assistance of volunteers. Choice of Skills Labs will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, so please refrain from completing the survey until you are certain of your availability. Additionally, if you have any questions or concerns about the volunteer requirements for a particular Skills Lab, please contact the AAPM&R Meetings Team at assembly@aapmr.org before responding to the survey.

*Learning Lab and preconference course volunteers will not receive remuneration for their participation

You must be a registered attendee for the Assembly in order to be eligible to volunteer.

We thank you in advance for your participation!

Legislation Introduced to Alleviate Impact of Conversion Factor Cut for 2021

Nov 09, 2020

Last month, two bills were introduced in the House proposing solutions to the estimated 10.6% Physician Fee Schedule conversion factor cut expected to go into effect January 1, 2021.  The bills offer some relief to the cut, but do not reflect a comprehensive or long-term solution.  AAPM&R has therefore chosen to remain neutral regarding these bills.

Your Academy continues to advocate for a permanent solution to the conversion factor cut while maintaining the important payment increases to office and outpatient evaluation and management services.
