You're Invited to the 2019 Annual Assembly!
A Word from Dr. Rachel Brakke Holman, AAPM&R's Program Planning Committee Chair
"Join me and thousands of your physiatrist peers in San Antonio for 4 exciting days of in-depth education, valuable networking opportunities, cutting-edge research, and a chance to explore this historical city.
We have several new offerings for 2019:
- Community Day: Network with your peers who share similar interests on Thursday morning. Attend sessions created and organized by the AAPM&R Member Communities, including clinically-focused, practice-focused, and identity-focused groups. All are welcome!
- Brunch and General Closing Session featuring PhyzTalks: Stay until Sunday to enjoy a tasty brunch and hear physiatry-focused presentations from your fellow PM&R peers (included with your registration!)
- More Advanced Content: You asked. We delivered! #AAPMR2019 includes more advanced content this year to help meet the needs of those who have been out in practice for many years.
- E-Posters: We’re upping the research game with e-posters available for viewing at digital stations in our Research Hub. Presenters will be invited to discuss their poster at selected times in the PM&R Pavilion.
Even before I was involved with planning the Annual Assembly, I always enjoyed attending because it allowed me to connect with other physiatrists doing exactly what I do. It’s a great opportunity for informal mentorship, support, and connection.
See you in the Lone Star State!"
