Don't Forget to Claim Your 2016 CME

As 2016 comes to a close, it’s time to take care of some important year-end tasks. Continuing medical education (CME) credits for completed activities and live events will not be awarded until you have claimed the CME. Sign in to mē® (me.aapmr.org) to:

  • Document CME credits for 2016. If you need documentation of CME credit earned in 2016 for licensure, credentialing, or Maintenance of Certification® (MOC®), your CME credit claim must be processed by December 31, 2016. If you wait until 2017 to claim, your CME credits will be applied to 2017 without exception.
  • Claim CME for live events. Claim CME for any live event you attended in the last year. Don’t forget to claim credit for the Annual Assembly if you did not get a chance to do so while on-site in New Orleans.

Need more CME credits before the end of 2016? Complete a self-assessment for practitioners (SAE-P) for up to 8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ –the Stroke Rehabilitation SAE-P is brand new! You can also complete the complimentaryREMS Playbook for Opioid Prescribing to earn up to 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Find other CME activities related your interests when you click on the Catalog tab and search by topic or educational format.

Don’t forget: 1 complimentary SAE-P is included with Academy membership for Fellow and Associate members and all Practice Improvement Projects (PIPs) are free for all members!
