While we’re sad that the 2018 Winter Olympics are over, there’s still fun to be seen! The 2018 Paralympics Winter Games run March 9-18 in PyeongChang. Who’s watching?

AAPM&R resident member Danielle Saenz, DO, who is a PGY3 at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, was chosen by the International Paralympic Committee to be a guest blogger in partnership with Samsung. She will be traveling to PyeongChang to share the stories of challenge, triumph, hardship, and success of the very talented athletes participating in the Paralympic Games.

Her goal is to raise awareness for adaptive sports and encourage a larger audience to watch the Paralympic Games. “I am beyond excited for this opportunity to exhibit athletes of all abilities on a global platform,” says Dr. Saenz.

We’re excited for Dr. Saenz and can’t wait to watch the games!
