Bylaws Amendment Change

Feb 28, 2022, 09:51 by User Not Found

At the 2021 Annual Business Meeting held virtually on November 13, voting members approved the recommendation to increase the AAPM&R’s Awards Committee composition by increasing the members-at-large from two to “up to five” for the purpose of expanding, diversifying and strengthening this selection committee. At the Business Meeting, it was suggested from the floor that the Board consider establishing a minimum number of members-at-large for the Awards Committee. The Board heard and considered this member feedback.

The Board of Governors plans to adjust the Awards Committee composition from “up to five members at-large” to “not less than two and up to five members-at-large.” In accordance with the Bylaws, the Board of Governors is opening up a comment period before they confirm this minor revision/clarification at their March 31-April 3, 2022 meeting.
