A proposal to update the musculoskeletal system chapters of the AMA Guides® is being considered by the AMA Guides® Editorial Panel for adoption in 2024. The panel is specifically considering updates to the Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Spine chapters.
AAPM&R encourages members interested in evaluating specific upper and lower diagnoses in the AMA Guides, including impairment rating values, to submit comments here before the March 8, 2024 deadline.
