On February 23, your Academy submitted comments to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in response to a request for information on the use of AI in clinical care and existing implementation barriers. Academy comments highlighted the importance of adequate infrastructure, regulation, and reimbursement to support AI in healthcare. AAPM&R is continuing to explore the potential role new technologies can play in improving patient health outcomes and physician wellbeing.
