The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has opened the Calendar Year (CY) 2024 Doctors and Clinicians Preview Period, giving physicians an opportunity to review their Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) performance data before it becomes publicly available.
This preview period allows PM&R physicians to verify the accuracy of any 2024 MIPS data eligible for publication on Medicare.gov and the Provider Data Catalog (PDC). Since some of this information could be displayed on patient-facing physician and group practice profile pages, it is important to take advantage of this preview period before this information is made available to the public.
Participants can access their performance information through the secure portal on the Quality Payment Program (QPP) website, where they can review measures, scores, and other publicly reported data elements.

Physicians are encouraged to take advantage of this window to ensure their information is complete and accurate. The preview period closes on June 11 at 8 pm (ET), after which the data will be finalized for public reporting.
