Open Payments Pre-Publication Review and Dispute Period Open

Apr 24, 2025

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is reminding covered recipients—including physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses and teaching hospitals—that the Open Payments Pre-Publication Review and Dispute Period for Program Year 2024 is now open and runs through May 15, 2025.

During this time, recipients can review and, if needed, dispute the data reported about them before it is published in June. While participation is voluntary, CMS strongly encourages all covered recipients to review their information to ensure accuracy. Disputes submitted by the May 15 deadline will be reflected in the public data release.

For detailed guidance, visit the Resources for Reporting Entities page on the Open Payments website. For additional assistance, contact the Open Payments Help Desk at openpayments@cms.hhs.gov.
