Virtual Mentoring

Successful professionals often attribute their success to those who helped them along the way. AAPM&R is introducing a mentoring program to help early career physicians find similar success through online mentorship.

AAPM&R Virtual Mentoring matches early-career physicians with experienced physiatrists with the goal of promoting personal and professional development. This members-only benefit offers a formal way to connect with the physiatric community via a mentor who can be a resource for:

  • Questions
  • Shared experiences
  • Goal setting
  • Career navigation
  • And more

Who Can Participate

Mentors: Physiatrists who have been in practice for 6 or more years.

Protégés: Physiatrists who are in fellowship or have been out of residency for 1 to 5 years.
