The Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC) Program at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has completed evidence reviews for various issues of interest to the specialty: 

Prehabilitation and Rehabilitation for Major Joint Replacement
(Systematic Review, released on November 3, 2021)

This systematic review evaluates the rehabilitation interventions for patients who have undergone (or will undergo) total knee arthroplasty or total hip arthroplasty for the treatment of osteoarthritis.

Integrated and Comprehensive Pain Management Programs: Effectiveness and Harms
(Systematic Review, released on October 29, 2021)

The review evaluates the effectiveness and harms of pain management programs that are based on the biopsychosocial model of care, particularly in the Medicare population.

Living Systematic Review on Cannabis and Other Plant-Based Treatments for Chronic Pain
(Systematic Review, released on October 27, 2021)

The review evaluates the evidence on benefits and harms of cannabinoids and similar plant-based compounds to treat chronic pain.
