Members will be asked to share their opinions on how the finalized policies may impact their practices and the specialty. Topics include:
- Collapsing of level 2-4 E/M codes for 2021 payment
- Revised documentation requirements for 2021 including a minimum documentation standard as well as the option to bill based solely on time or medical decision making
- New add-on codes for primary and complex care
Member feedback obtained at the town hall will inform the Academy's comment letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
